                                    My Pet Dog

I have got a pet dog. It is a two-year-old Labrador. We call him Buddy. My parents gave me him as a birthday present when he was a cute little puppy.

Buddy is a yellow Labrador, but in fact his colour is creamy white. He has got a broad head and long legs.

I think, Buddy is an ideal pet. He was a bit naughty when he was a puppy (he used to chew our shoes) but we taught him to chew special toys. Now Buddy is a sweet natured dog, who is keen to please. He doesn't like being left alone for long periods of time. He loves to run in the countryside and in the summer he loves to swim in our river.

I am glad to have Buddy and I cannot imagine my life without him.

У меня есть собака. Это двухлетний лабрадор. Мы зовем его Бадди. Мои родители подарили мне его на день рождения, когда он был милым маленьким щенком.

Бадди — палевый лабрадор, но на самом деле у него светло-кремовый окрас. У него широкая голова и длинные ноги.

Я думаю, Бадди - идеальный питомец. Он был немного непослушным, когда был щенком (он жевал нашу обувь), но мы научили его жевать специальные игрушки. Теперь Бадди - добродушный пес, который стремится угодить. Ему не нравится оставаться одному на долгое время. Он любит бегать на природе, а летом — плавать в нашей речке.

Я рад(а), что у меня есть Бадди, и я не могу представить свою жизнь без него.
