The City of my DreamГород моей мечтыSince young age, I have always wondered what the perfect place for living would be like. Now, I can say that I have a clear vision of the city of my dreams. First of all, it should be situated in a sunny part of our planet and have great weather conditions all year round. Secondly, there should be neither crime nor any violence there. Only good and kind people can reside in such city. Life can be much easier and nicer if everyone is loving and understanding. In the city of my dreams people will live in peace and quiet, without any worries and fears. This city will have excellent roads, cheap stores, many beautiful parks and playgrounds for kids, several entertainment centers and else. The population of the city will be neither too rich, nor poor. People will live equally well. Older people will be respected and taken care of. The streets will be clean and safe. There will be no homeless animals in the city of my dreams. Another important condition is to have a loyal government. People in the city of my dream will never be in a hurry and they will do only the jobs they like. However, I certainly understand that it’s just my dream, I really hope that at least some of the mentioned qualities will come true in the future.С ранних лет мне всегда было интересно, каким было бы идеальное место для проживания. Сейчас я могу сказать, что у меня есть своё чёткое видение города моей мечты. В первую очередь, он должен быть расположен в южной части нашей планеты и иметь отличные погодные условия круглый год. Во-вторых, там не должно быть никакого криминала или жестокости. Лишь хорошие и добрые люди могут населять такой город. Жизнь может быть гораздо легче и приятнее, если все будут любящими и понимающими. В городе моей мечты люди будут жить в мире и спокойствии, без тревог и страхов. В городе будут прекрасные дороги, дешёвые магазины, много красивых парков и площадок для детей, несколько развлекательных центров и т.д. Население города не будет слишком богатым, или бедным. Люди будут жить одинаково хорошо. Пожилых людей будут уважать, и ухаживать за ними. Улицы будут чистыми и безопасными. Не будет никаких бездомных животных в городе моей мечты. Другое важное условие – это наличие лояльного правительства. Люди в городе моей мечты никогда не будут спешить, и будут делать только ту работу, которая им нравится. Однако я, конечно же, понимаю, что это всего лишь моя мечта, но я действительно надеюсь, что хотя бы некоторые упомянутые качества в будущем сбудутся.

MY VISIT ТО THE CINEMA
I really enjoy going to the cinema; it is one
of the favorite pastimes even though I don’t
really go that often. Fortunately, the cinema
isn’t too far away from where I live and I
can get there by bus within ten minutes. I
am very lucky to live in a big town because
it means that I have a choice of cinemas and
a wider choice of films.
Watching films is always very relaxing and
entertaining. The convenience of the cinema
is that you can choose what time you want
to go because there are usually a number of
showings.
You know, it is popular to go out
somewhere first and then go on to a late-
night film. The cinema is particularly
popular among students because they don’t
have to pay full price for some films and is
therefore a reasonably cheap form of
entertainment.
There are a variety of films available today.
I especially like comedies or love stories.
Detective stories with a lot of action and
suspense grab my attention also. I
particularly enjoy films where you become
so involved with the story that you forget
you are sitting in a cinema.
The last film I went to see was an American
comedy (Thriller called «Who’s Watching
the Baby-sitter? »). I really enjoyed it
because it was funny, it had a lot of action
in it and the end was so unexpected.
Nowadays cinemas are so comfortable that
it is almost like being at home so it is a
luxury to go to the cinema.
