The City of my DreamГород моей мечтыSince young age, I have always wondered what the perfect place for living would be like. Now, I can say that I have a clear vision of the city of my dreams. First of all, it should be situated in a sunny part of our planet and have great weather conditions all year round. Secondly, there should be neither crime nor any violence there. Only good and kind people can reside in such city. Life can be much easier and nicer if everyone is loving and understanding. In the city of my dreams people will live in peace and quiet, without any worries and fears. This city will have excellent roads, cheap stores, many beautiful parks and playgrounds for kids, several entertainment centers and else. The population of the city will be neither too rich, nor poor. People will live equally well. Older people will be respected and taken care of. The streets will be clean and safe. There will be no homeless animals in the city of my dreams. Another important condition is to have a loyal government. People in the city of my dream will never be in a hurry and they will do only the jobs they like. However, I certainly understand that it’s just my dream, I really hope that at least some of the mentioned qualities will come true in the future.                                                                                                                Город моей мечты Город моей мечтыС юных лет, я всегда удивлялся, что идеальным местом для жизни будет. Теперь, я могу сказать, что у меня есть четкое видение города моей мечты. Прежде всего, она должна быть расположена в Солнечной части нашей планеты и иметь отличные погодные условия круглый год. Во-вторых, не должно быть ни преступлений, ни насилия. Только хорошие и добрые люди живут в таком городе. Жизнь может быть гораздо проще и приятнее, если бы каждый любящий и понимающий. В городе моей мечты люди будут жить в мире и покое, без каких-либо забот и страхов. В этом городе будут прекрасные дороги, дешевые магазины, много красивых парков и площадок для детей, несколько развлекательных центров и другого. Население города не будет ни слишком богатых, ни бедных. Люди будут жить одинаково хорошо. Пожилых людей будут уважать и заботиться. Улицы будут чистыми и безопасными. Не будет никаких бездомных животных в городе моей мечты. Еще одним важным условием является, чтобы иметь лояльное правительство. Люди в городе моей мечты никогда не будут спешить, и будут делать только ту работу, которую они любят. Однако, я, конечно, понимаю, что это просто моя мечта, я очень надеюсь, что хотя бы некоторые упомянутые качества в будущем сбудутся.

Reading books is one of my hobbies. I have a few favourite authors, but at present my favourite foreign writer is Jules Verne, one of the best French writers.

Jules Verne was born in 1828 and died in 1905. He was trained as a lawyer but he chose to write for magazines and the theatre. He created a new kind of novel that combined scientific fact with adventure fiction. It was called “scientific fiction". Verne's books quickly became best-sellers. He wrote more than 60 books that formed the popular series "Voyages extraordinaires" (“Extraordinary Journeys”). Most of his books are still popular with readers all over the world. The most famous works by Jules Verne are “A Journey to the Centre of the Earth”, “Around the World in Eighty Days”, “The Mysterious Island”, “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, “From the Earth to the Moon”.

My favourite book by him is “The Mysterious Island”. It is so interesting that I have read it twice. The best part of the book for me is the details of the main characters' survival and the author's belief in people and their ability to build a fair world.

Quite recently we (have done) research ... , in case you (haven't heard) the name before! I expect you might have seen some of the cars which (are made) here. ...
