I think that homeschooling should be a right of all families as the parents should be able to choose what their child learns and how they learn it.If school was compulsory that would force people into school even if they didn't want to.Doesn't that negate the morals of most people? Having a school is a great thing for children whose parents are always busy and don't have time to take care of their children, but many parents want to take care of their children and don't want the negative influences school can provide for children. Even if it was a law, enforcing it would be near impossible! How would you force somebody to go to school? Police? That makes it more like a jail and not a place to learn.
