My Idol I think almost everyone in the world admires someone. It is especially true for young people. Most of them have idols. They try to look and act like them. It is useful when a person looks up to someone with positive qualities or to someone who has done lots of good and worthy things. Idols are mostly found in such spheres like music or cinema. My idol is Michael Jackson. I like all his songs and I admire his personality. I think that he was a multi-talented person. He managed to stage fantastic and spectacular shows. He was a great singer and dancer. Besides, he did a lot for poor and disabled children of Africa. I’ve read at a magazine that Michael Jackson was born in a rather poor family. There were nine children and they all lived in a four-room house. Later, when Michael Jackson became really rich and popular, he purchased a huge house with lots of rooms upstairs and downstairs. Many critics said his behavior was eccentric. He never gave interviews, he was rarely seen in public, he often wore a face mask to protect himself from germs, and he slept in an oxygen capsule, which he believed would help him to live longer. However, his manager says that he was simply very shy. He started singing in public when he was only five years old. Since then he had been working like a grown-up. He had never had free time to play with other children and he led a very stressful life. He felt safe with animals and children and he feared crowds. He was a bit childish too. He loved kids’ stories and his favourite hero was Peter Pan. No matter how eccentric or childish he was, I think he was a clever man, who managed to create a successfully brilliant image.

Since ancient times Nature has served Man, being the source of his life. For thousands of years people lived in harmony with environment and it seemed to them that natural riches were unlimited. But with the development of civilization man's interference in nature began to increase.

Large cities with thousands of smoky industrial enterprises appear all over the world today. The by-products of their activity pollute the air we breathe, the water we drink, the land we grow grain and vegetables on.

Every year world industry pollutes the atmosphere with about 1000 million tons of dust and other harmful substances. Many cities suffer from smog. Vast forests are cut and burn in fire. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance. As a result some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants disappear forever, a number of rivers and lakes dry up.

The pollution of air and the world's ocean, destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man's careless interaction with nature, a sign of the ecological crises.

The most horrible ecological disaster befell Ukraine and its people after the Chernobyl tragedy in April 1986. About 18 percent of the territory of Byelarus were also polluted with radioactive substances. A great damage has been done to the agriculture, forests and people's health. The consequences of this explosion at the atomic power-station are tragic for the Ukrainian, Byelorussian and other nations.

Environmental protection is of a universal concern. That is why serious measures to create a system of ecological security should be taken .

Environmental problems and their solutions. Many people litter in nature, pollutes water in rivers and prevents the plants to grow out of the ground. If you went camping in the woods, do not bury trash in the ground. Do not light fires in the forest. Do not wash car in the river. Don't terminate the meadow flowers, better take a picture of) Plant trees because they clean our air and produce oxygen. Together we can resolve the issue of ecology!
Проблемы экологии и  их решение. Человек очень много мусорит на природе, загрязняет воду в реках и мешает расти растениям из под земли. Если вы ходили в поход в лес, не зарывайте мусор в землю. Не разжигайте костры на территории леса. Не мойте в реке машины. Не обрывайте луговые цветы, лучше сфотографируйте) Садите деревья, ведь они очищают наш воздух и производят кислород.
