 Russia is the largest country in the world. It has rich culture and history.

The capital of Russia is a large and beautiful city of Moscow. 

There are a lot of other small and large interesting cities in the country.The cities that one should definitely visit include  Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, and, of course, the “Golden Ring” towns. 

Tourists from other countries admire museums, art galleries, churches, cathedrals and other ancient sights and historical monuments of Russia. They admire its nature and wonderful boat trips, mountain trips, picturesque landscapes.

They are usually delighted with the purest water of the world's deepest lake Baikal and hot springs in the Far East in Russia.

The population of the country is about 150 million people. 

Russia is a multinational country. Many nationalities live in it.

 Russians are proud of their famous countrymen such as Yuri Gagarin, the first man to circle the Earth in a spaceship, V.Vysotskiy, P.I.Chaikovskiy, A. S. Pushkin, F.Dostoevskiy and L.Tolstoy, V.V.Putin, the present president of Russia and many others.

Russian people are believed to be hospitable, generous, and the country is known as surprising and interesting.For those, who want to try Russian cuisine, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in every city or town. The most delicious Russian dishes are borscht and pancakes with caviar.

i am rather tall, thin. i am well-built, to my mind. i have an oval face with a straight nose. my eyes are rather big and brown. i have long eyelashes. my lips are neither thin nor full. my hair is dark and i have a short cut.

nowadays it’s expensive to be smart and fashionable but i try to be well-dressed and neat. i have no beard and moustache. i usually wear a pullover and dark trousers. i was born in january. i am capricorn. so i am serious but i couldn’t say for sure, that i am quite.

first of all i enjoy listening to loud music. i like merry company and parties. as for my character i am cheerful, honest, sociable. i have a sense of humor. i like jokes. i am brought up and have good manners.

i don’t respect rude, selfish and foolish people. i hate it when people lie and can’t keep their promise. i also hate it when people interrupt others because it’s impossible to have a talk with them. i try to deal with people who are honest, polite, disciplined they never lie and help in difficult situation.

i am a sportsman. i go in for track and field. so i also go in for sport only sport makes people healthy, active, forms a character.

I'm fond of reading. Usually I borrow books from the library, but I have a lot of them at home, too. I like to read books about famous people and detective stories. Literature means much in my life. It helps to form the character and to understand life better.

There are some names in Russian and Foreign literature that are very dear to me.

In Russian literature I highly appreciate Ivan Sergiyovych Turgenev. For me he is a real intellectual and aristocrat, a man of culture, devoted to literature, music and art. Though he lived abroad for a long time he didn't stop to be a Russian writer-for a moment. He created a number of national characters in his books. The image of Turgenev s woman, deeply feeling, faithful and tender is an ideal of a Russian woman for me. It doesn't lose its charm even today.
