Cartoons and animated movies is the branch of movies for children, which have very bright images, colors and music. Originally they used to be drawn by artists, however, almost all modern cartoons are created with the help of computer animation.
Cartoons help children to understand the world around them and they also form the basis of their personality. In the past children used to read a lot, but nowadays cartoons became children’s guideline.
I think that modern cartoons are becoming more and more over-aged. The industry creates products for both children and their parents. One of the biggest problems is that cartoons nowadays become meaningless, their only purpose is entertainment. For example, I think such a popular cartoon as SpongeBob SquarePants shouldn’t be on air at all, because it can influence children mental health in a bad way. The characters of some cartoon series make me think about the existence of possible mental problems of their creators. There’s also violence and even a hint of sex in modern cartoons.
In spite of all new technologies, it seems that all animation masterpieces were created dozens of years ago. And what we see now is a weak attempt to create something at least as good as it used to be.

Each person is responsible for our future world. Almost everyone starts wondering about the future because it is a mysterious thing. Nobody knows exactly what is going to happen next.

Today I’m a school pupil and hopefully in a few years I will be studying at the university to get higher education. My dream profession is a lawyer. After the university I’d like to work in the field of law and get necessary experience.

I’m sure many things will have changed by then. For example, people have already started caring about nature and its resources more. An increasing number of “green” projects are being developed, which I think is only for good. First of all, many buildings that try to use solar energy have been built. Green architecture designs environmentally friendly houses. Cars are also gradually switching to hybrid or electric power. Another future advance involves space flights. Even at present days people are interested in flying to the Moon or Mars.

Future schools will be also different from where we study today. I think that education will become distant. It means that students will be able to study from their homes, sitting in front of their computers. I don’t think that it’s a good idea because many people will become overweight and less sociable. Other future projects include “smart” houses. These houses will be programmed the way their owners want. For example, the lights will turn on whenever people enter the room and go off when they leave it. The doors will open and close automatically. The fridges will start talking. The robots will do the housework. Many of these future advances are already in use.

Даже в наши дни люди интересуются полетами на Луну или Марс.

Будущие школы будут также отличаться от тех, где мы учимся сегодня. Я думаю, что образование станет дистанционным. Это означает, что студенты смогут учиться из дома, сидя перед своими компьютерами. Я не думаю, что это хорошая идея, потому что многие люди станут страдать от избыточного веса и станут менее общительны. К другим проектам будущего относятся "умные" дома. Эти дома будут запрограммированы так, как угодно их владельцам. Например, свет будет включаться, когда люди входят в комнату и выключаться, когда они покидают её. Двери будут открываться и закрываться автоматически. Холодильники начнут разговаривать. Роботы будут делать работу по дому. Многие из этих будущих проектов уже используются.
