am going to tell you about my school. My school is new and modern and I like it very much. It has three floors. The classrooms are light and spacious. There are classrooms for different subjects, such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology Literature etc.

There is a computer class in our school. We study computer science here. The computer class has the most modern equipment and the Internet access.

We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the second floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances.

There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field, a swimming pool, and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, swimming, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups.

In our school we have also painting group, dance group, theatre group and rock group. All these groups are very popular and many pupils attend them.

The teachers in our school are very skilled. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection, climat changes etc.

There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February.

I think that school years are very important for every person. It’s a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledges, and choosing your way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So I’ll never forget my school, my teachers, and my classmates.

Клара попала в автомобильную катастрофу в 10 лет. Когда она выросла она боялась машин. Она встретила Брэда, который был проффесиональным гонщиком. Он хотел ей и возил ее на своей машине каждый день. Так через 5 лет Клара тоже стала гонщиком. Сейчас она водит на скорости 200 км/ч и участвует в соревнованиях. Она очень любит водить и имеет много планов на будущее. TornadoТорнадоThere are many dangerous natural disasters in the world and tornado is one of them. It is defined as a whirling column of air or a funnel-shaped wind, formed in severe thunderstorms. Sometimes it’s called twister or cyclone and is regarded as the most violent of thunderstorms. If tornado touches the ground or body of water, it can cause lots of destruction. The main reason why tornadoes occur is the collision of warm air mass with a cool and dry mass. This leads to a powerful rotation of air, which can sometimes exceed 300 mph. The formed force of wind can lift and carry heavy things. Tornadoes can occur worldwide, but are often reported in the USA. Some states are more exposed to thunderstorms than others. Other countries that are frequently hit by tornadoes include Japan, Australia, South Africa, Uruguay, Canada. There are certain weather patterns that precede this natural disaster. For example, rain, strong winds, lightning, sometimes even hail or suspicious calmness. It depends on the region and the type of tornado. The meteorologists distinguish the following common types of tornado: waterspouts, landspouts, dust devils, steam devils, gustnados, fire whirls. The damage from tornadoes is created merely by its strong force of wind. Fortunately, most storms are mild and only a few are destructive. The record-breaking tornado by its damage and duration occurred in spring of 1925, in three states of the USA: Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. This disaster killed more than 600 people, while over 2000 were injured. To keep safe during tornadoes people should listen to weather alerts and have a pre-determined plan. They say that underground shelters or basements are a good place to hide during strong thunderstorms.В мире существует много опасных стихийных бедствий и торнадо является одним из них.
