Россия – великая страна и только ленивый не знает историю ее возникновения, развития и становления. Она занимает площадь около 17 миллионов километров. Расположилась страна в Северном полушарии и большая часть материка Евразии принадлежит именно ей. У России общие границы с восемнадцатью странами, в том числе и по морю. В море мы граничим с США и Японией.

В России большое количество водоемов, рек, озер. Если говорить о количестве, то это цифра будет около 2,8 млн. рек. Самые большие реки, текущие по территории России: Волга, Енисей, Дон, Обь и Лена. И только в нашей стране есть самое чистое озеро и глубокое на земле – Байкал. В России и есть самое крупное в мире море - Каспийское.

Столицей России является город Москва, здесь развита инфраструктура, город который богат своей историей.

В стране есть большое количество мегаполисов. В них население превышает по количеству один миллион человек.
