The history of a modern double-decker bus started from the middle of the nineteenth century, when two-storeyed horse-drawn carriages with an open top appeared on London`s streets for the first time. These carriages were painted red and cream color, they could accommodate up to forty people, and it was very convenient in conditions of overpopulation of the capital of Great Britain, suffered from transportation problems.

Willie is at the party. There are a lot of things on the table. “Do you want something more, Willie?” asks the host. “No, thank you,” answers Willie. “I am full.” “Well then,” smiles the host, “put some fruits and cakes in your pocket to eat on the way home.” “No, thank you,” answers Willie, “they are full too.”

David: Have you ever visited Disneyland in Paris?

Carla: Yes, I have. It's fantastic.

David: When did you go there?

Carla:  I went with my mum last weekend.

David: Really?

Carla: Yes. We travelled there by train on Friday evening and we

left on Sunday morning. But my dad didn't come with us.

David: Has he been there before?

Carla: No, he hasn't. He hates places like that. He  hasn't visited a

theme park since 1985 when he was fourteen years old.

David: And what did you think of the rides?

Carla:  I really liked them all, especially the Big Thunder Mountain ride.  It's terrifying.  Have you ever seen a photo of it?

David: No.  But I have heard a lot about it. It sounds great.
