Это на русском:рассказывает о приключениях жеребца-мустанга на Диком Западе. Время действия – 19 век. Дикий мустанг Спирит вырос в прериях, и теперь он лидер в своем табуне. Спирит непослушен и беспечен, и из-за своего любопытства этот молодой конь попадает в неприятность. Однажды, заметив вдалеке странные мерцающие огоньки и приблизившись к ним, Спирит впервые встречает людей. Для мустанга эта первая встреча с людьми заканчивается печально. Первая же встреча с людьми заканчивается арканом и пленом, поэтому Спирит не испытывает к человеку никаких дружеских чувств. Но он изменяет свое мнение, подружившись с молодым индейским воином по имени Ручеек и разделив с ним невзгоды и лишения. Отважный мустанг даже свою любовь встречает в индейском племени - пятнистую кобылу Дождь. Спириту предстоит пережить множество опасных приключений и выйти из них с гордо поднятой головой. Ведь недаром отважный мустанг стал одной из легенд Дикого Запада.
