Dear Colin,Thanks for your letter. It was nice to hear your news. Actually,I have got some news ,too. Do you remember the old factory near my house? Well,the council is turning it into a park.They started months ago,now the work is almost finished. I'm really happy about it, because next to my house soon will stay an amazing park! I am proud of the people who decided from the old useless factory, which harm the environment, make a new ecological park. There are still a few things to do. People want to park quickly open, and we are helping the builders throw all the garbage. This work is really bonds us. I hope you can come and visit me soon,so we can play in the new park.I know you*ll really like it.Well,that*s all my news.Write back soon.

New Year is considered the most popular holiday in our family. At the beginning of December everybody has a festive mood. In the city the streets and shop windows are decorated with bright and motley garlands. A huge Christmas tree is put at the main square. We begin to prepare for the holiday. We buy Christmas-tree decorations, tinsel and gifts for each other at New Year’s fairs. At the end of December we put artificial Christmas tree and decorate it for the holiday.

 New Year’s Eve always seems to me magical and unforgettable. At midnight after president’s appearance on television chiming clock begins to strike. We wish each other a happy New Year and make a wish and then exchange gifts. 
В нашей семье самым любимым праздником считается Новый год. В начале декабря у всех появляется праздничное настроение. В городе украшают улицы и витрины магазинов яркими, разноцветными гирляндами. А на главной площади устанавливают огромную ёлку. Мы начинаем готовиться к празднику. На новогодних ярмарках покупаем друг другу подарки, ёлочные игрушки и мишуру. В конце декабря дома устанавливаем искусственную ёлку и наряжаем её к празднику.

 Новогодняя ночь кажется мне всегда волшебной и незабываемой. В полночь, после выступления президента по телевизору, начинают бить куранты. Мы поздравляем друг друга с новым годом и загадываем желание, а потом обмениваемся подарками.

Hello, dear guests and teacher! My favorite magazine National Geography. It is very informative and interesting. I learn a lot of new! I like traveling very much, and this magazine about travel and different countries. Most of all I like Thailand. In the last issue of the magazine, I learned a lot about this country. For example, the fact that the inhabitants of the state, very friendly, value their history and traditions. This is a very ancient country, a variety of temples, architecture, exotic pets. Here with love meet tourists and organize different excursions. I especially like the symbol of their country - the golden dragon.. Still I would like to go to the Philippines and the Crimea, looking forward to the release of the next issue. Thank You!

Мой любимый журнал Национальная География. 
Он очень позновательный и интересный. Я узнаю много нового! 
Я очень люблю путешествовать, а этот журнал о путешествиях и разных странах. 
Больше всего мне нравится Таиланд. В выпуске журнала, я много узнал о этой стране. 
Например, то что жители данного государства, очень дружелюбны, дорожат своей историей и традициями. 
Это очень древняя страна, разнообразные храмы, архитектура, экзотические животные. Здесь с любовью встречают туристов и проводят различные экскурсии. Особенно мне нравится символ их страны - золотой дракон. . 
Еще я бы хотел поехать на Филиппины и Крым, с нетерпением жду выпуска следующего номера
