As mentioned above x-rays were in a wide use for diagnostic purposes in medicine since their discovery. industrial radiology has been discovered later particularly for inspecting welds and castings in the automobile and airplane industries. flaws and cracks inside the metal are readily revealed due to the use of x-ray techniques. famous paintings are often x-rayed to determine whether they are the originals or forgeries. (3) using x-rays irradiation the scientists have learnt to change structures of well-known materials such as metals, ceramics, etc. they could obtain materials of greater strength with higher melting point and particular electrical properties. radiation is known to be a mutagenic agent. in microbiology mutations are increased by irradiation. when a large-scale production of penicillin was introduced the best strain (4) yielded 100-200 units of penicillin. being irradiated with x-rays, the same strain produced more than 1, 000 units. many new uses have been found for this treatment in agriculture.

Кто не любит праздники? Праздники, как правило, означает не ходить в школу или на работу, они также означают, хорошая еда, настоящее и большое удовольствие. Русский народ они тоже нравятся. Вот некоторые традиционные праздники и праздники они празднуют. 1 января – Новый год 14 февраля – День Святого Валентина Март-Апрель – Пасхальный фестиваль 7 января – Рождество и начало нового года-это время для празднования и сделать новый старт. Люди желают друг другу "счастливого Нового Года" и отправьте специальную открытку. В канун Нового года (31 декабря) многие люди идут на вечеринки со своими семьями, соседями и друзьями. Они ложатся спать после полуночи, чтобы "встретить Новый год” в часов. 1 января является государственным праздником в России. Для пожилых людей это спокойный день перед телевизором. Но молодые люди выйти и встретить своих друзей на вечеринки, дискотеки и различные клубы. В День Святого Валентина люди посылают специальные открытки (валентинки) к тем, кого они любят. Это традиция не давать имя отправителя. Некоторые люди покупают подарки для своих sweetheats или дать им красную розу-символ любви.

Most of all I want to travel all around the world. I want to see new places and learn about different cultures. I love travelling so travelling around the whole world would be a dream come true. There are so many places I want to visit. I have been in 8 countries. One of them is England. I want to tell you about that trip, because it was a dream holiday. The trip lasted for 4 days.

It was a girl trip, only me and my mum. We had to take the coast bus to Haugesund very early at the morning. We arrived Haugesund airport and took the plain to Stansted airport in London. I was very excited and had huge expectations because I had heard a lot positive about London before. When we took the bus from the airport to the hotel, I looked at the places we drove true. The houses were different from norway, a lot of them were made of brick. I could see already that london was a lot bigger than Stavanger. We came to a hotel, called Picadilly hotel or something, because the hotel was in a place called Picadilly sircus. Me and my mum were both tiard after the trip, so we decided to relax a bit this first evening. We took the sightseeing bus and looked at all the nice buildings, and for me who is interessted in culture (buildings, nature and so on) this was awsome. The bus trip lasted for about one hour. In the beginning of the trip it was light and we saw everything perfectly clear, we saw big ben, buckingham palace, and a lot of other increadable buildings. After some minutes it became a bit dark, and it was so nice to be on the sightseen bus, it was beautiful. A lot of light from all the buildings and bridges and so on. It was really an amazing journey just to sit on that bus.
