Thanks for your letter, I was so happy to get it! Glad to hear that you have won the running competition! Congratulations on your first place, Jen!

You are asking me about my plans for the summer holidays. Well, I am going to spend this summer together with my family. We like to travel, so all summer we will spend in different countries. We are going to visit Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Germany. I really dream to see the Coliseum. I am fond of ancient Roman history since my childhood. And I consider that it was a great empire which had no equal in all the world.

And what about your summer holidays, Jen? Are you going to go abroad or will you stay home? And when do you have next competition? Send me a picture with your gold medal!

Please give my warm regards to your parents and brother. I often remember my journey to New York and your hospitality. It was great!

Well, got to go now. Looking forward to hearing from you!
