Hello, dear veteran of the Great Patriotic War! 
I am a student of the third form.
I have never met you, but I know that you are a very brave and strong man. You won that war and could defend our Motherland. 
I think, you took part in the battle of Kursk with my great-grandfather. Maybe you fought with my other great-grandfather in Stalingrad.
I read many books and stories about the Great Patriotic War. I watched a lot of films about that war. My parents told me about that war, too. It was terrible! 
Thank you dear veteran, for everything you have done! I wish you good health and long life. Take care of yourself.

Я никогда не встречал вас, но я знаю, что вы очень храбрый и сильный человек. Вы победили в той войне и смогли отстоять нашу Родину. 
Я думаю, вы участвовали в битве на Курской дуге с моим прадедом. Возможно, вы воевали с моим другим прадедом в Сталинграде.
Я прочитал много книг и рассказов о Великой Отечественной войне. Я смотрел много фильмов об этом. Мои родители тоже рассказывали мне о той войне. Это было ужасно!

People are surprised when I tell where I work. I dreamt about it since my  childhood

. But my friends laughed at me. The first time I flew on a plane when I was eleven. I went to Paris on winter holidays with my parents. I liked the size and the  atmosphere

of a plane and it was fantastic. I finished the Flying Academy and now work on passenger planes. I am on short flights. During the day I can be in different cities and countries. Some people disagree that it is good for a female and think that it is a dangerous job. I don’t think so. It is  safe

as I work with my husband and we are happy. We are a flying family.
