Обмен с галереей Тейт.
Каждый год Национальная галерея и некоторые другие Британские или иностранные галереи обмениваются картинами по соглашению. В этом году,к примеру,обмен производится с галерей Тейт и Государственным музеем искусств в Копенгагене. 

Аудиогид по галерее. 
Уникальный переносной CD-плеер,комментирующий вслух почти каждую картину,размещён на первом этаже. Доступен он за необязательную плату,его можно обнаружить у главного входа и в фойе крыла Сейнсбери; всем посетителям он позволяет узнать информацию о произведениях,которые выберут они сами. Тур по 30 великим произведениям доступен на шести языках: английском,французском,немецком,итальянском,японском и испанском.

Микрогалерея.
Компьютерная информационная система,включающая в себя информацию обо всей коллекции предоставляет посетителям возможность познакомиться с подробными сведениями о картине,её художнике,периоде или происходящем на ней. Использование системы бесплатно. Крыло Сейнсбери,первый этаж. Открыто с понедельника по субботу с 10 утра до 17:30 вечера (в среду до 19:30 вечера),в воскресенье с 12:00 по 17:30.
