                                   My Favourite Book

I like reading books and I read a lot. Not so long ago I read a book that now is my favourite one. It is "Two Captains" by Veniamin Kaverin.

The main character is Sanya (Alexander) Grigoryev. The writer tells us how Sanya grew up, fell in love, discovered the meaning of true friendship and became a brave Arctic pilot. We learn about the boy's urge to find the long lost Captain Tatarinov. A great thing about the book is the motto "To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield" which is a line from Alfred Tennyson's poem "Ulysses".

I like this book because there is everything in it: adventures, a love story, fantasy and history. It is really unputdownable.

Я люблю читать книги и много читаю. Не так давно я прочитал(а) книгу, которая стала моей любимой на данный момент. Это «Два капитана» Вениамина Каверина.

Главный герой - Саня (Александр) Григорьев. Автор рассказывает, как Саня вырос, влюбился, открыл смысл настоящей дружбы и стал отважным северным летчиком. Мы узнаем о желании мальчика найти давно пропавшего капитана Татаринова. Самое замечательное в книге - это девиз «Бороться и искать, найти и не сдаваться», который взят из стихотворения Альфреда Теннисона «Улисс».

Мне нравится эта книга, потому что в ней есть все: приключения, история любви, фантастика и история. От нее невозможно оторваться.

My dream house.

Nowadays people live in different houses, Some in apartments, in country houses, in houses on the ground, in communal apartments. Each of them has its pros and cons. Every year the houses become more modern. Personally, I'd like to live out of town in a house on earth. My ideal home is this one, the territory of which is well landscaped and protected from strangers and noise, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of tranquility And where there is a nearby river, where you can go fishing or swimming and where there is a forest. It would be great to have an orchard, a sauna, as well as a gazebo where you can drink tea with family or friends. On the one hand, the house should be modern, but on the other I should feel closer to nature.

Cinema.

All people love to watch movies, but it can be watched both at home and in the cinema. My favorite genres are Comedy and melodrama. Personally, I love to watch movies at home, because it's free, no one bothers, you can make a comfortable environment for viewing. You can stop the movie, if there are urgent matters that will have to change plans.
