Children recall(вспоминают) their summer holidays with a great joy. I thing summer is the best season in the world because you have a lot of free time. In summer children can go on different hikes (походы) with their parents. They put up a tent, go boating and fishing, listen to sounds of forest. 
Many children like to spend their summer at their daches(на дачах). There they can swim, splash in the water, loosen the soil (копать землю), earth up the potatoes (картошку копать).
