Conflicts happened because people were 
different: they wanted different things, they had
different ideas and their values were different. 
Very often people had conflicts because they 
did not listen to each other well. They thought
about what they wanted to say and didn't really 
hear what the other person was saying.

I woke up befor the alarm clock rang and got up at once.
"It's going to be a great day,"I said to myself and gave a little laugh.I don't know why but I had a feeling that something wonderful is going to happen.
The breakfast was unusually tasty too , which made the feeling even stronger.We usually had cornflakes or friend eggs for breakfast but that morning Mum made lovely pancakes with strawberry jam and cream.
"I could eat them every morning ," I said to her finishing up the fourth pancake.
"I would cook them every day if I didn`t have to go to work every morning,"Mum grinned at me and picked up her handbag:"Ciao,see you in the evening ."
I took a mouthful of pancake and waved her goodbye.
"Oh,I forgot to tell you-thre's a letter for you in the hall.It was delivered early this morning.You were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up."
I rushed to the hall.There was a large white envelope there.
A blue stamp indicated that it was from the college I had sent my applicatiom on.I was hesitant to open it.
