Этим летом я отдыхала в Горном Алтае. Мне очень понравилась живописная природа и замечательные горы этого края. 
    Особенно запомнился мне поход на Каракольские озера. Эти озера находятся высоко в горах. Сначала мы ехали туда на машине по каменистым дорогам, переезжали множество бурных речек. Мостики через эти речки были такие ветхие, что выдерживали только пустую машину, поэтому мы останавливались перед мостами, высаживались из машины и шли пешком. 
    В одном месте дорога внезапно оборвалась - дальше наш путь шел по руслу высохшей реки. Затем мы начали карабкаться в гору, а кругом стоял густой лес с кедрами и соснами. 
    Через два часа мы наконец поднялись на вершину. Перед нами раскинулись семь озер, которые цепочкой вытянулись в долине между гор. По берегам нижнего озера росли кедры, а верхнее озеро находилось уже в тундре. На его берегах лежал снег, а вода в нем была ледяная и прозрачная. 
    Важно, что все Каракольские озера очень чистые, из них можно спокойно пить воду. На берегах озер растут карликовые березы, ивы, можжевельник и даже в июле цветут огоньки. 
    Когда мы возвращались обратно, нас застал дождь и мы вымокли до нитки. 
    За это путешествие я пешком около двадцати километров. Это был один из самых счастливых дней моего лета, и я обязательно снова вернусь туда.
