Music is the source of good mood for me. I like almost all types of music, including rap, rock, disco, techno, drum & bass, hip-hop, alternative and others. I also admire many famous singers and music bands. However, my favourite one is “Linkin Park”. It is an American rock band which originated in California. This band is rather popular among the teens nowadays. What I like about them is the fact that they sing in different styles. Some of their songs are alternative, some are metal, some rock. They have clever texts and unusual musical decisions. The band was formed in 1999 and they’ve released about 9 albums since then. It consists of six men: Chester Bennington, David Farell, Rob Burdon, Bred Delson, Joe Hahn, and Mike Shinoda. The most famous member is Chester Bennington, of course. He is the lead singer. I think, he is very talented and he is considered to be one of the best heavy metal vocalists in the world. He writes his own poems and composes music. “Linkin Park” released many melodic songs and I like them all without distinction. However, my favourite one is “Breaking the habits”. Their songs are rather moving. One can see true feelings of happiness or sorrow in them. They can even make you think of global problems. I like listening to “Linkin Park” lying on my sofa and just dreaming. Apart from writing and performing songs, all members of my favourite band participate in charity sometimes. And, that’ another reason why I think “Linkin Park” is a wonderful band.

Summer is a great time of year. Sunny and warm weather allows you to travel. This summer, I had trips that I would remember for the rest of my life.

My dad and I decided to go visit his brother at the beginning of the summer. We were going to the neighboring region. First we went by train, and then by train. Dad's brother lives in the Kursk region in the city of Shchigry. After taking the train to Kursk, we took a bus and went to Shchigry. The journey took about an hour. Shchigry turned out to be a nice town. My uncle received us cordially, and we had a good time at his house.

After visiting my uncle, we went to the village of Valuiki in the Belgorod region. My dad's aunt lived in this village. It was her anniversary. We went to congratulate my grandmother. There were a lot of our relatives there. We had a fun time.

After that, we went for a weekend to the sea in the city of Yeisk. I liked the sea very much. The sea in Yeysk is not deep. The water is very warm and the beach is very long. There were a lot of people in Yeysk. In the morning we went to the beach, a day walking in the city centre, and after lunch again went to the beach. I still have a lot of photos from the beach.

That's how I was lucky enough to travel this summer. I will remember these interesting trips for a long time.
