i think summer is the best season for rest because it is warm, the nature is beautiful and we have great opportunities for rest. summer is a time of holidays. we can go for a walk all day long, watch the clouds, swim, sit down by a river or a lake on fresh, green grass,

climb high hills, play different games, ride a bicycle and so on.

i spend my summer holidays at my granny. there were many things there to enjoy. i swam in the sea, lay in the sun and did many other things. sometimes i made a fire with my friends at the seaside and cooked potatoes there. it was wonderful. we told anecdotes to

each other, and did everything we wanted. i also got used to walk alone in the forest.

when the august was coming to the end, i went on a small voyage by ship.

but the last summer wasn't for me only sugar and honey. i have passed through the graduating exams in school and entering exams in the university and technical university. so the bigger part of my summer vocations i spent at the books. of course, it was not

interesting, but i'm glad that i did it because now i'm a student of the best university in primorye and the whole far-east.  

 

My room is small, but it is very cozy   and bright. my room belongs   only to me and no one shares   it with me. in addition, my room is the most distant   from the other rooms in my house and no one can eavesdrop   on me.there is a bed, bookshelves and a writing desk with a computer on it. my room is not just a place where i can relax, it is also a place where i can work! there are many large and exotic plants. it creates a special atmosphere here.i love traveling and soccer, so on the walls in my room there are a lot of pictures and posters of footballers or different countries. also i collect model cars, so on my shelf   you can see a number of beautiful and old-fashioned cars. i personally believe that precisely   this collection of selected cars and posters on the walls makes my room a bit special and unique.there is also a stereo system   and a guitar. sometimes when i stay home alone, i turn on the music at full volume, or play guitar with friends. no matter what anyone says, my room is great!  

My favourite book

It’s impossible to be an educated person without good books. Most of the books are to be read just once, others can be read plenty of times. And each time you find something new and useful as you turn the same pages of your favourite books. I am fond of books about adventures and great people, detective stories and science fiction. I enjoy reading them when I have spare time.

But my favorite book of all times is a novel “Three comrades” written by a German writer Erich Maria Remarque. This book was recommended to me by my elder sister and I’m grateful to her for that advice. It was really worth reading.

“Three comrades” is a book about love and friendship of three common people (Robert, Otto and Gottfried) who lived in Germany between the two World wars. The main characters are real friends who struggle together with poverty and violence and they manage to preserve their dignity and humanity. The story of beautiful and tragic love between Robert and Pat is heart-breaking because the girl dies of tuberculosis.

I find the book very powerful and deeply moving. It teaches people to find the inner strength to live in a tough world. It often helps me when I find myself in a difficult situation and I need an answer to some question. It is my great friend and teacher.
