Как я провел лето

Робин. — Привет, мой дорогой друг.
Том. — Привет, я скучал по тебе.
Робин. — Я тоже. Как твои дела? Расскажи, как ты провел лето?
Том. — Все хорошо за вопрос. Этим летом я побывал в Москве.
Робин.  — О, это интересно.
Том. -Я был в Москве в первый раз. Мне очень понравился этот город. Я посетил Красную площадь. Она красивее, чем на фотографиях. Здесь я увидел самые красивые шедевры русской архитектуры — Кремль и собор Василия Блаженного. Кроме того, я посетил экскурсию в Государственную Третьяковскую галерею. Гид рассказывал нам о создании галереи и ее основателе. Я запомнил картину «Утро в сосновом лесу». Я был в Московском зоопарк и видел много милых животных. Там я встретил хорошую девушку Машу из столицы. Она рассказала мне много интересного о Москве, мы гуляли по парку, ходили в кино и наслаждались летними каникулами. Вот  как я провел лето в Москве.
Робин. -Ты не потратил время зря. Думаю, что после твоего рассказа, я должен посетить столицу России.
Том. — О, да. Надеюсь, в следующем году я побываю там снова.

How I spent my summer holidays

Robin. -Hello, my dear friend.
Tom. - Hi, i missed you
Robin. — I too. How are you? Tell me, how you spent the summer?
Tom. — All is well, thanks for asking. This summer I traveled to Moscow.
Robin. — oh,it is interesting
Tom. — I was in Moscow for the first time. I loved this city. I visited the Red Square. She is more beautiful than the pictures. Here i saw the most beautiful masterpieces of Russian architecture — the Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral. Also I was able to visit a tour to the Tretyakov State Gallery. The guide told us about the creation of the gallery and her founder. I remember the painting «Morning in a Pine Forest». I was in the Moscow zoo and saw a lot of cute animals. There I met a nice girl Masha from the capital. She told me many interesting things about Moscow, we were walking through the parks, go in the movies and enjoy your summer vacation. Thats how I spent my summer in Moscow. 
Robin. — You didn’t waste time in vain. I think after your story, i should visit the capital of Russia.
Tom. — Oh, yes. I hope next year I will be visit there again.

1. It's rude to eat with your mouth open.

2. Are you absolutely certain about  doing it?

3. I am addicted to  watching sports on TV, but I'm not really into playing!

4. Study immediately before going to sleep. You'll remember a lot more the next day.

5. We were unlucky  to lose the game, we deserved to win.

6. I don't mind  being alone, but it's better to be with other people.

7. What you don't want  to remember, you forget (?)

8. Playing games is a fun way of improving your memory skills.

9.  Experts say that it is pretty dangerous to do bungee jumping.

10. Most people are worried about losing their job, so they're trying best at  working.

11. I was really so surprised  to see you. I was happy  to come.

12. It is impossible  to succeed, if you are not ready to work hard.

                    Dear Dima,
                    I’ve just received your letter! I was waiting for it so long! Thank you for not forgetting to write to me. I'm always very glad to get your letters.
                     Dima, dear friend, you ask me so many questions in your letter, and I’m eager to share all the news with you! You ask how I’m doing. Now everything is as usual, I'm still going to school, but this summer I’m going to have exams. Sometimes I even manage to have some free time! When it’s so, I go to the gym or do handicrafts. My last work was the kitchen boards in the technique of decoupage. This is so exciting! But that's not all! Not so long ago we went to the Museum of Entertaining Science. It was a fascinating trip into the mysterious world of physics! It was magnificent! I learned many new interesting things. You ask how we are going to spend this summer. Well, now in my head there's a whole bunch of ideas! I’m eager to tell you about everything. I hope very much that we’ll meet,indeed! I would like to invite you to go on a fabulous trip through our great powerful country. Have you travelled to St. Petersburg or to Pskov? If not, then let's go there! But you can go on a fascinating trip around the «Golden Ring of Russia» as well. And, if we have time and forces, let's take a trip to some exotic country, for example, Argentina or Mexico. If we go to Argentina, you are sure to enjoy the dishes of the national cuisine, and, of course, we’ll attend the classes where we’ll learn how to dance the most famous tango – the Argentine Tango! This dance is very encouraging, so it is beautiful! Really, a great amount of passion and fire! Besides all this, we’ll get acquainted with the national culture and admire the scenery of the wonderful countryside. We’ll come back full of bright and enchanting experiences and stories.
                       Now let me also ask you some questions.  How is your studying abroad? Do you like to be in Spain? When will you able to come to see us? What about your parents? Give them my best wishes.
                      I was really very glad to receive your letter; you are sincerely interested in my life! Every time our letters give me more hope that I’m not alone! Looking forward to your answer and to seeing you soon!
