My winter traditions

My winter traditions are similar to many people in Ukraine. Usually, my family and I take a trip to a warm country like Egypt or Sri-Lanka for a winter holiday. We usually celebrate a New year somewhere abroad because my mo says it is cheaper than staying in our country. Moreover, it is always a good memory and lots of fun. Even though there is no snow for a holiday in the selected zone, we still have all the attributes: we give presents, take lovely photos, attend concerts, and have a festive dinner.

Rose: What are you looking for?

Alex: I need something to read on the train.

Rose: What about that detective story? It looks interesting

Alex: No, I don't like detective stories. I prefer science fiction. What about you?

Rose: I don't like science fiction — I don't understand it! Do you know this crime author, Robert  B Parker?

Alex: No, I don't. Ask the assistant about him.

Rose: Excuse me. Is Robert B Parker a good writer?
