Life would be much slower without cars. This modern invention has changed the lives of many people. With their appearance it became easier to move across the city and even to travel to other countries.
When I was a child I remember we drove from Sochi to Georgia. It was a wonderful trip. I’m sure if we went by train or by plane we’d lose the very feeling of travel. When you travel by car, you can see lots of beautiful places, natural wonders and well-known sights. You don’t have to buy the tickets or to wait for the bus to come. You can stop wherever you want, for example, at the picturesque seafront or at the foot of the mountain.
There are unfortunately some disadvantages of cars. One of them is the air and noise pollution. Cars are indeed one of the worst polluters of the environment. That’s why many people nowadays choose the bicycle. Another problem is the price of the gasoline, which becomes higher from year to year. If some years ago it was profitable to go somewhere by car, today it’s often cheaper to pay for public transport. Travelling by car, people can get stuck in heavy traffics. That’s another disadvantage
