I'm going to talk about my day when I go to school. 
I get up at seven AM. Then I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, do a washing-up. Then I have my tasty breakfast. After that I put on my clothes, grab my rucksack and go to school. I always try to be at school on time. At ten AM I have my lunch at school and I have a dinner after lessons. Once I am done with my dinner, I leave school to home. At home I do some tasks I was given at school. Once I've completed that, I have a snack, I turn on TV and watch my favourite cartoon. Then I turn on my computer; I chat with my friend, play my computer games, read something interesting. At eight or nine PM I have a supper. At ten PM I brush my teeth, take a shower and at eleven PM I go to bed. Good night!

Meet my family. There are five of us – my parents, my elder brother, my baby sister and me. First, meet my mum and dad, Jane and Michael. My mum enjoys reading and my dad enjoys playing chess with my brother Ken. My mum is slim and rather tall. She has long red hair and big brown eyes. She has a very pleasant smile and a soft voice. My mother is very kind and understanding. We are real friends. She is a housewife. As she has three children, she is always busy around the house. She takes care of my baby sister Meg, who is only three months old. My sister is very small and funny. She sleeps, eats and sometimes cries. We all help our mother and let her have a rest in the evening. Then she usually reads a book or just watches TV. My father is a doctor. He is tall and handsome. He has short dark hair and gray eyes. He is a very hardworking man. He is rather strict with us, but always fair. My elder brother Ken is thirteen, and he is very clever. He is good at Maths and always helps me with it, because I can hardly understand all these sums and problems. Ken has red hair and brown eyes. My name is Jessica. I am eleven. I have long dark hair and brown eyes. I am not as clever as my brother, though I try to do my best at school too. I am fond of dancing. Our dancing studio won The Best Dancing Studio 2015 competition last month. I am very proud of it. I also like to help my mother with my little sister very much. Our family is very united. We love each other and always try to spend more time together.

New York is the largest and one of the most important cities in the United States. This huge city is located on the eastern coast of the country and consists of 5 administrative districts: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and the Staten Island. Partially the city is located on the islands adjacent to the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and the Hudson Bay.Not being a capital of the country, or even of the state, New York, however, has become a major center of financial, economic, political and cultural life for Americans.The city has a long history. The Dutch were the first settlers in the 17th century, and the old name of the city was New Amsterdam.The main center of New York City has always been the island of Manhattan. Here are concentrated the main attractions and the wealth of the city. The most famous company offices, headquarters, museums, monuments of culture and architecture, many theaters and restaurants, hotels and well-known shopping centers are located in the heart of the huge metropolis.Those who arrive to New York to see the most interesting and famous places of America, begin their journey with a tour of the main symbol of the city and the country, the Statue of Liberty, located on a small island southwest of Manhattan. Since 1886, a huge 93-meter statue greets and farewells residents and visitors of New York.Despite of the huge area, it is impossible to get lost in New York. All the streets form equal squares and have number titles. Twelve wide streets, crossing these squares are called Avenues. The most famous Avenues are: Broadway, Fifth and Seventh Avenue.Any tourist coming to this wonderful city, will always find something that interests him the most. No wonder, they say, that all tastes and cultures are mixed here, you can meet representatives of any nationality in the world. Many consider this city the capital of the world.
