 I do not think that keeping a wild animal as a pet is a good idea. There are several reasons why.
Firstly, wild animals like freedom and independence. They will never see a human as a master. They become nervous and incontrolled when people try to limit their freedom. There are a lot of sad stories when a lion or shake kill their masters.
Secondly, homes are not the right place to keep wild animals, especially in a city. A flat or even a private house does not have enough space to allow a wild animal to follow its natural instincts. They will definitely rival with himans, and this may lead to casualties.
To sum up, I believe that wild nature is the ideal home for wild animals, and people should not disturb and hurt them thinking egoistically.
