Hobbies make our life more colouful and they keep us occupied in our leisure time. And I believe hobbies help us both to relax and to develop.

My favourite hobby is drawing. I started drawing when I was five. My mother was a great teacher in my childhood, she always encouraged me and praised my funny drawings. She even decorated the house with them. And the best presents on my parents’ and grandparents’ birthdays were also my drawings. Of course I was pleased and quite proud of my works. Since then this hobby has become a very important part of my life.

I studied drawing from the special literature containing different sketches. I learnt to imitate drawing nature, beautiful buildings, human faces and bodies, animals and birds. I practiced in making them realistic and natural. My hobby made me observe the world around me every minute of my life. I realized that observation was the main thing in the art of painting and drawing.

Today drawing and painting are so much fun to me. I just need a paint brush and watercolour, crayons or pencils and some drawing paper. And I feel happy and never get bored with my hobby. I try to show all my devotion, imagination and creativity in my works. Mostly I am fond of still-lives and landscapes in light colours. Although it happens sometimes that I suddenly take a pen and start drawing whatever comes to my mind. I don’t consider myself to be a great artist and I still have much to be improved but my friends are always amazed at my pictures and they find them unique.

Drawing brings me real satisfaction. It is my own little world. And I hope one day it will help me to focus on my goal and become a graphic designer.

My favorite sportsman

Actually, I’m not fond of sport, but sometimes I watch hockey games with my parents. My favorite team is SKA from Saint-Petersburg, Russia and in my opinion, the best player of the team is Iliya Kovalchuk.

Ilya started his hockey career when he was 16 years old in Tver. At first time he was a player of the famous Moscow team ‘Spartak’. He is a fantastic hockeyist and the player is loved by Russians so much. Probably, it is because he is the first Russian player invited in NHL in 2001. Ilya played in such Russian hockey teams as “Spartak”, “Ak bars” and “SKA”, but he also signed some contracts with teams of USA and played in “Atlanta” and “New Jersey”. Ilya is also known as a finalist of the Stanley Cup.

Besides, his team won a bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and Ilya has been a member of Russian Olympic team three times at least. Ilya has been honored with the Master of Sports title. In 2015 he gained silver medals of the World Championship.

Indeed, a lot of women like this guy because he is a very handsome and charismatic man. He is really tall (191 cm) and big (100 kg) like a savage Russian bear. His position in the team is forward. Competitors are afraid of him, but he is so respected by his partners and hockey fans.

By the way, Ilya Kovalchuk participates in different charity events and social occasions with other celebrities. He is favorable guest on every party. Ilya is known as a very good-natured and sociable sportsman. That’s why SKA twitter gets more than 100 000 followers.

As for me, I guess, that such people as mr. Kovalchuk can make every game more spectacular and interesting. I like him for his outstanding performance and achievements. He is not only a clever, nice and charming man but a great professional in the hockey sphere, that’s why he is my favorite sportsman.

Легенда об озере Байкал 4))

Древняя казахская легенда повествует о любви двух молодых людей Или и Каратала. Она была дочерью одного из богатейших людей по имени Балхаш. Она славилась в деревне своей красотой. Каратал был бедным пастухом. Он наблюдал за овцами в степи.

Когда она выросла, пришло время выдать ее за кого-нибудь замуж. Балхаш хотел найти ей мужа. Было много богатых кандидатов, которые хотели жениться на ней. Тогда Балхаш решил организовать конкурс для будущих мужей. Он пообещал отдать свою дочь победителю конкурса в жены. Но она не хотела выходить замуж за мужчину, которого не знала. Она очень любила Каратала. Итак, она Караталу выиграть конкурс.

Когда Балхаш узнал об этом, он очень рассердился на них. Он приказал своим людям убить Каратала. Затем Или и Каратал убежали из деревни. Балхаш и его люди последовали за ними и поймали их. Как гласит легенда, Балхаш превратил Хай и Каратал в реки. И он превратился в озеро между ними. Даже тогда он не дал молодым влюбленным шанса быть вместе. Так появились озеро Байкал и реки Или и Каратал.
