St. Petersburg – The Northern Capital of Russia, one of the most beautiful cities of the world with a large number of historical monuments. The most known of them – the Hermitage, the Maryinsky Theater, National Library of Russia. Russian Museum, Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral. Here it is possible to see also very interesting monuments to animals: to lions, griffins, sphinxes, cats, dogs and even a hare who has escaped from a flood.
At the beginning of summer, in St. Petersburg the White nights when the evening dawn meets with morning begin and almost all night long twilight lasts. I very much want to see a divorce of bridges and to visit Peterhof where majestic fountains are in full swing.

"Soft watch" or "Permanence of memory" is one of the most famous paintings of the Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali. Other name: "Strength of memory."  

In the picture we can see the landscape with Port Ligat. In the foreground is a clock that has the shape of melted cheese. That is cheese, as the associations came to Dali at the sight of melted cheese. This is also evidenced by his statement that the origin of the plot of the picture is connected with his reflections of Camembert cheese. Also in the foreground we can see an abstract image of Salvador Dali.

The very meaning of the picture speaks of the departure from the linear understanding of time, the fluidity of time, its variability. Waiting for his wife from the movie, Salvador Dali suddenly noticed on the table a piece of melting cheese, which caused him to associate with a long-running and stretching time. And there was a picture, which is now recognized as a world masterpiece of painting and one of the most famous paintings of the surrealist Salvador Dali. Another notable element in the painting is the pocket watch on the left side of the painting, which is covered with ants. This image Dali explained how the connection ants, devouring human flesh, with continuously current time. In the background, we can see the boundless sea, which symbolizes the infinity of space and time, as well as the mountains, which not only contrast their hardness with the soft clock, but also symbolize the constancy that is timeless.
