Оставление Британии римлянами произошло в конце четвертого, начале пятого веков нашей эры, то есть на тот момент могли разговаривать и на древнеримском языке. Затем было завоевание данного города нормандцами, а с 1081 года он уже стал английским городом, но валлийские правители также приняли участие в его истории.

У каждой степени два варианта. Бывает так, что один из них реже используется, а  потому может считаться некорректным, но, если перепутаешь, за ошибку это не считается. Единственное, носитель языка может не сразу понять.
