I have a pet.  It's a cat.  His name is Moore.  We called our cat so, because he always purrs.  He is very kind and sweet.  Every day when I get up, he runs up to me and starts rubbing against me.  But to be honest, the first time he ran, I thought he wanted to bite me, and he came up and began to purr.  Because of his loud purring, I often call him Murlykolka.  We play together very often, after I do the lessons.  He has also various ribbons, and colored balls, and all sorts of soft toys.  In general, I will tell you so, my cat - the best!

I have a cat. Her name is Lyalya. It is black and gray. She is six years old. She has green eyes. They are large and round. She has a very beautiful, fluffy tail and small ears. Lyalya likes to sleep very much. She sleeps in the warmest places of our house. She also very much likes to eat. Sometimes she eats grandmother's flowers. I love playing with my cat. I pull the rope, and the cat runs and plays with this rope.
My cat is affectionate, but timid. Once we took Lyalya to the dacha. My cat hid under the house. We spent a very long time looking for a cat, and she climbed out from under the house only in the evening. My cat is a coward!
I really love my cat, and she loves me!

Library is one of my favourite places. It’s a place where you can find lots of books on various subjects, magazines and sometimes old newspapers. If a library is well-stocked, it’s an asset to every school, college or university.

Our school also has a library, but it’s not large. When I have free time, I often visit it and look for interesting books to read. All books are kept and arranged properly, so it’s not difficult to find what you need. Besides, the librarians are always there to help you. В нашей школе также есть библиотека, но она не большая. There are also some libraries in my neighbourhood. My favourite place is the library of Italian literature. I’m fond of Italian and I’ve been learning this language for several years. I know that attending this library is a good way to master my language skills. Apart from books in Italian, one can find other international literature in different languages, for example, in French or in English. The rooms of this library are light, spacious and well-equipped. Nowadays, there is also a possibility to read books in electronic format. In my opinion, it’s one of the best and most interesting libraries in our area. Whenever I come here, there are different exhibitions of books, pictures, photos. Sometimes, there are also lessons for the little ones, where they can hear a fairy-tale, draw a dragon or make a castle. В настоящее время существует также возможность читать книги в электронном формате. На мой взгляд, это одна из лучших и самых интересных библиотек в нашей округе. Всякий раз, когда я прихожу сюда, здесь проводятся различные выставки книг, картин, фотографий. Иногда, здесь проходят уроки для самых маленьких, во время которых они могут послушать сказку, нарисовать дракона или слепить замок.

I think that libraries are very important for people of any age. First of all, it’s the great means of education. Secondly, we can get lots of useful information there. And, finally, it just feels good to spend time in a place where nobody disturbs you when you’re reading.
