Перевести текст text с. our future profession in russia (the soviet union) hundreds of thousands of young people study at different medical institutes. they study numerous theoretical and special subjects. they have prac tical training during which they do the work of nurses and assistant doctors. such a course of studies helps them to gain much knowledge of medicine, which will give them the possibility to diagnose different diseases and treat people. but medical students must remember that it is not easy to be a good doctor. a good doctor must have not only deep knowledge of a particular field of medicine such as surgery or therapy. he must love people and have a kind heart. he must give all his knowledge, all his abilities, all his talent, and all his time to people, to the protection of their health. one of the prominent soviet therapeutists prof. m. p. kon-chalovsky considers that a person may be a poor writer, he may be a bad painter (художник) or an actor but a man cannot and must not be a bad doctor. medical students must understand well all the difficulties of their future profession. they must remember that often it will be difficult to diagnose a disease, sometimes it will be even more difficult to cure it. but a good doctor will always do his best1to gain his patient’s confidence.2and the confidence of a patient in his doctor is a “valuable remedy”. did you hear about hippocrates oath3before you entered the institute? what does it read? it reads, “i shall enter any house for the good of the patient. shall not do my patient any harm” — nthese are the words from hippocrates oath. and they must be not only words for medical students. they must become the motto (девиз) of their life. medical students must remember that to treat patients is a great art (искусство) but not an ordinary trade (ремесло it is one of the professions which requires a real calling for it.

В России (СССР) сотни тысяч молодых людей учатся в разных медицинских институтах. Они изучают многочисленные теоретические и специальные дисциплины. У них есть практические занятия, в ходе которых они выполняют работу медсестер и врачей. Такой курс обучения им получить много знаний о медицине, что даст им возможность диагностировать различные заболевания и лечить людей.

Но студенты-медики должны помнить, что быть хорошим врачом нелегко. Хороший врач должен обладать не только глубокими знаниями в определенной области медицины, например в хирургии или терапии. Он должен любить людей и иметь доброе сердце. Он должен отдавать все свои знания, все свои весь свой талант и все свое время людям, чтобы защитить их здоровье.

Один из видных советских терапевтов, профессор М. П. Кончаловский, считает, что человек может быть плохим писателем, плохим художником или актером, но человек не может и не должен быть плохим врачом.

Студенты-медики должны хорошо понимать все трудности своей будущей профессии. Они должны помнить, что часто будет сложно диагностировать заболевание, а иногда будет еще сложнее его вылечить. Но хороший врач всегда сделает все возможное, чтобы завоевать доверие пациента. А уверенность пациента в своем враче - это «ценное лекарство».

Вы слышали о клятве Гиппократа перед поступлением в институт? Что она гласит? Она гласит: «Я войду в любой дом на благо пациента (в какой бы дом я ни вошел, я войду туда только для пользы больного). Я не причиню вреда своему пациенту». Таковы слова из клятвы Гиппократа. И они должны быть не только словами для студентов-медиков. Они должны стать девизом их жизни.

Студенты-медики должны помнить, что лечение пациентов — это великое искусство, а не обычное ремесло. Это одна из профессий, которая требует настоящего призвания.
