My favourite place in our city is our park. It is large and the bigger part of it is an amusement park but there are also a few quiet spots where people can take a walk by the lake or sit on a bench in the shadow of the trees.
When I was a little kid, my family and I often went there at weekends to go on amusement rides and get positive emotions. We also took long walks watching beautiful flower beds and magnificent trees. In autumn this green kingdom turns into a fire palace — it's such an amazing sight! I liked to see my parents' happy faces. I was happy too: mum and dad often bought me popcorn or cotton candy. Now I come to the park with my friends. There is an area for roller skating and skateboarding there — it's our usual meeting place.
We tell our news and discuss lots of things or play games on our phones or tablets. By the way, in the park there is a spot where we can charge our phones or other devices for free.
There are a lot of great places in our city, but the park will always be the best for me.

"Currently, it is difficult to list all the activities, entertainment and Hobbies that people do in their free time. More and more people prefer to watch movies, performances, sports events on TV, rather than attend them. There are completely different types of leisure activities that give thousands of people a sense of excitement and expectation. People choose different activities to spend their free time. Today, people spend hours watching various informational, educational, or environmental programs. Other popular activities include surfing the Internet, playing computer games and listening to the radio, reading books (often electronic), drawing, etc. Many people prefer to engage in various sports and lead an active lifestyle. Sometimes they participate in competitions or contests and have a very good time. There are people who prefer a quiet way to spend their free time. They love walking in parks or gardens. More serious people prefer to visit museums and galleries. Leri or

B: I certainly can. It is not very far from here. I think it will take you about thirty minutes to get there from here. If you are in a hurry, you can go by bus. The bus-stop is at Oxford Circus.
A: And how can we get to Oxford Circus?
B: Go straight on, then turn left at the traffic lights and go straight on again. In two minutes you are at Oxford Circus.
A: What bus must we take?
B: Your bus is the 73.
A: At what stop do we get off?
B: You have to get off at Great Russel Street. This bus stops in front of the British Museum.
A: And how long will it take us to get to the British Museum by bus?
B: I think about fifteen minutes.
A: One more thing. Is there a bus table at the bus stop? If I see that our bus comes in 15-20 minutes, we shall walk there.
B: Of course you will find a bus table at the bus stop. I think this bus arrives every 10-15 minutes.
A: Thank you very much!
B: Not at all. Have a good time.
A: Many thanks.
