Moscow was different 100 years ago. it wasn’t busy and big. only 5 thousand people lived there. there were only a few streets in it and there were no cars in the streets: just horses and maybe bicycles. people lived in houses, they didn’t live in block of flats. i think there were a lot of shops and a crowded market 100 years ago in my town. there was a school, a restaurant, a church, a doctor’s, a post-office and a train station in it. the streets were clean and quiet. there were a lot of trees and flower-beds in my town. the air wasn’t polluted. moscow was beautiful.

1.    what time did helen wake up? – helen woke up at 7: 30.

2.    how did she get to her work? – she drove by her car.

3.    what was very strange for her?   - that usually there were a lot of cars outside the office and she left her car in another street but not now.

4.    what was unusual in locked door? – usually at this time office’s door was opened.

5.    how did she unlock office’s door? – helen had her own key.

6.    why wasn't helen's secretary at her work place? – because it was sunday.
