In my hometown we have a few important street events.

For example, last week there was an annual 10 km race.

A lot of people gathered along the central streets of our town and greeted the race participants.

I liked watching the athletes getting ready for the race and then running.

It was exciting.

I watched the winner crossing the finish line.

Soon we will celebrate the day of our town.

I am going to watch the street parade.

I think it will be great fun.
