I would like to tell you about my home town Tomask. It is an old city but it looks very modern. There are many parks, cinemas, theatres and museums there. In summer it is very green.
Toms is famous as a city od students. Every seventh citisen is a student as there are a lit of institutes, colledges and universities here. The first Medical University in Russia  was founded in Tomsk.
People love their city and try to save its  nature. You can see trash bins for recycled waste all over the city. The River Tom is cleaned every year.

Oh, why is English such a difficult language! I think it is more difficult than French. Sometimes I feel that my English is getting worse, not better. When you first start learning English, it seems easier than other languages and the grammar looks much simpler. However, when you become a little more advanced, it gets a lot more complicated. There are also so many words in English! The dictionary I bought when I first came to Britain is far too simple. I'm already looking for something bigger and more comprehensive

1. Two weeks ago I went down town to buy a birthday present for my elder sister. You couldn't meet more wonderful person than her. She is one of the most charming women I know. She is also the most generous-hearted person I've ever met. Mother says she could be a bit tidier than she is. Anyway, the present I wanted to buy her had to be the best I could afford. Eventually, I came across the most beautiful scarf I had ever seen. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered the next day that Mother had bought her exactly the came scarf.
