Reading improves our outlook and helps us to think wider. Moreover reading of magazines let us get to know about new tendencies in modern life, social streams and so on. It is a common fact that the variety of magazines on today market is uncountable. Thus everyone is able to choose something interesting. For example, my classmates can’t wait to buy a fresh number of “Cosmopolitan”, “Viva” etc. They believe that articles in it may help in their life. So what can I say - “Tastes differ”. As for me I’m keen of art in any kind. That’s why I’m trying to read as many interesting articles regarding contemporary art as possible. I think this helps in self-realization and gives better understanding of the world as it’s the common fact that art reflects all the tendencies which exist in society. There is one magazine that’s quite helpful in this grasping process. It’s called “Sho”. It positions itself as underground art magazine. On its pages I always find something interesting to read about. For more convenience it is divided into sections devoted to modern theatre, news in the field of cinema and most remarkable movies, contemporary literature, and music. As usual I read overviews from different film festivals, for example, Cannes International Film Festival. I find out new interesting music groups and even music streams. On the pages concerning tourism I get to know about exciting sightseeings and possibilities to travel around the world. “Sho” covers almost all my needs regarding art projects and events. I want to believe that it also helps me to find myself and create my own lifestyle.Чтение улучшает наше мировоззрение и нам мыслить шире. Кроме того, чтение журналов дает возможность узнать о новых тенденциях в современной жизни, социальных направлений и так далее. Известно, что разнообразие журналов на сегодня рынок бесконечно. Таким образом, каждый может выбрать что-то интересное. Например, мои одноклассницы не могут дождаться свежего номера " Cosmopolitan" , "Вива" и т.д. Они считают, что статьи в этих журналах могут в их жизни. Так что я могу сказать - " О вкусах не спорят ". Что касается меня, я увлекаюсь искусством в любом виде. Вот почему я пытаюсь читать как много больше интересных статей, касающихся современного искусства. Я думаю, что это в самореализации и дает более полное представление о мире, так как известно, что искусство отражает все тенденции, которые существуют в обществе. Существует один журнал, который довольно полезен в этом захватывающем процессе. Он называется "Шо ". Он позиционирует себя как андеграунд-арт журнал. На его страницах я всегда нахожу что-то интересное, о чем можно почитать. Для большего удобства он разделен на разделы, посвященные современному театру, новостям в области кино и самых замечательных фильмов, современной литературе и музыке. Обычно, я читаю обзоры разных кинофестивалей, например, Каннский кинофестиваль. Я узнаю новые интересные музыкальные коллективы и даже музыкальные направления. На страницах, посвященных туризму, я узнаю о захватывающих достопримечательностях и возможностях путешествовать по всему миру. "Шo" охватывает практически все мои потребности в отношении арт-проектов и мероприятий. Я хочу верить, что это также мне найти себя и создать свой собственный образ жизни.

Magazine is one of the major mass media. Magazine is a collection of articles and stories. Usually magazines also contain illustrations.

The earliest magazines developed from newspapers and booksellers catalogs. Magazines provide information on a wide range of topics such as business, culture, hobbies, medicine, religion, science, and sports. Some magazines entertain their readers with fiction, poetry, photography or articles about TV, or movie stars.

Magazines are designed to be kept for a longer time in comparison to newspapers and that is why they are printed on a better paper and have covers. Magazines, unlike newspapers, do not focus on daily, rapidly changing events.

There are specialized magazines intended for special business, industrial and professional groups, and consumer magazines intended for general public. There are several kinds of consumer magazines.

Children's magazines contain stories, jokes, articles on subjects especially interesting for children and instructions for making games or useful items.

Hobby magazines are intended for collectors of coins, stamps, and other items; people interested in certain sports or games; photography enthusiasts.

Intellectual magazines provide analysis of current cultural and political events. Many of them publish fiction and poetry as well.

Men's magazines focus on such topics as adventure, entertainment, men's fashion and sports.

Women's magazines deal with child-raising, fashion trends, romance. They offer ideas on cooking and home decorating. Many of the monthlies with big circulations are women's magazines.

Мой любимый журнал - Спорт навсегда! Там очень увлекательные статьи известных спортсменов и не только. Мне очень нравиться спорт, поэтому читать про него, одно удовольствие. Также я увлекаюсь модой. Часто перелистываю журналы, один с любимых - Стиль. Я знаю очень много модных брендов. Некоторые из них присутствуют в моей одежде. Это- Шанель, Дольче и Габана, Луи Виттон, и другие...
My favorite magazine - Sports forever! There's a fascinating article and well-known athletes only. I really like the sport, so read about it, it is a pleasure. Also, I enjoy fashion. Often leaf through magazines, one with a favorite - Style. I know a lot of fashion brands. Some of them are present in my clothes. It's Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, and more ...

At last the winter holidays came! I was very happy!   I hadn't to get up early in the morning and run to school. I could stay in the bed till midday. But I didn't want to sleep. There were a lot of things to do.

The weather was fine so my freinds and I went to the skating- rink almost every day. It was fun!

Then I spent a week in the country where my grandfather and grandmother lived. It was great. I drank milk and eat a lot of tasty food which my granny prepared for me.

I have many friends in this village because I go there every holidays.

We went to the forest to ski, we made snowmen and played snowballs. We even play hockey!

But the winter holidays were over and I returned to the city again.  I liked my holidays very much.

 

Наконец наступили зимние каникулы! Я был очень счастлив!  Я не должен был вставать рано утром и бежать в школу. Я мог  оставаться в постели до полудня. Но я не хотел спать. Было так много дел.

Погода была хорошая, так что мои друзья и я ходили на каток почти каждый день. Это было весело!

Затем я провел неделю в деревне, где  живут мои дедушка и бабушка . Это было здорово. Я пил молоко и ел много вкусной пищи, которую моя бабушка готовила для меня.

У меня много друзей в этой деревне, потому что я езжу туда каждые каникулы.

Мы ходили в лес кататься на лыжах, мы делали снеговиков и играли в снежки. Мы даже играли в хоккей!

Но зимние каникулы закончились, и я вернулся в город снова. Мне очень понравились мои каникулы.

I love the winter holidays for what they are filled with holidays. But I guess that's why they are very fast.
This year, as usual vacation began with a school Christmas tree. On this day after dances and Santa Claus with the class we have arranged own concert with gifts. I was leading. At first I was worried, but then I like to lead the program.
At home, we trim the tree and all the rooms are decorated with tinsel and figurines of gnomes.
On 31 December we were visited by my grandmother and grandfather. We spent the New Year together, went to the street to launch a rocket and burned candles sparklers. Morning, Santa Claus brought us gifts under the tree.
And then the holidays just flew. My brother and I watched cartoons, playing computer, went to rehearsal. January 7th, we were at a Christmas concert.
So quietly spent my winter vacation.
