смотри ed мы употребляем когда предложение стоит в времени а ing это когда действие происходит в данный момент то есть сейчас.

Ed относится к Past simple

ed этотокончание глагола во 2 форме если он правильный а если нет то в таблице непр. глаголов ты найдешь как пишется наример:

buy это первая форма

bought этот 2 форма

talk это первая форма

talked это 2 форма.

А Present continuous это действие происходит сейчас например:

я сейчас делаю дом задание
