My hobby

Everyone should have a hobby. It helps you to relax and makes you feel better. My hobby is painting.

I have been fond of painting since my childhood. My mother still keeps a pile of my first painting “masterpieces” in her cabinet. I used that pile when I went to School of art and got accepted.

I've been studying there for a couple of years already and I attend classes three times a week. Step-by-step I learn how to be an artist and I'm very happy to see that my paintings are getting better and better every year.

My teachers also say that I'm making progress and that makes me even happier. Of course sometimes I got criticized and it's not easy to handle even if it makes sense. Usually I get very upset but still try to focus on my mistakes and fix them.

When I have some free time I like drawing in my notebook. When the weather is nice I go to the park, sit on the bench and draw people, birds and animals I see around me. I also like drawing strangers I meet in the metro or in the bus.

What I like the most recently is oil painted landscapes. Every time my parents and I go out I take my painter's case with me. There is everything a painter needs in the painter's case.

This summer my family and I are going to the seacoast and I hope that I can make my dream come true that is to paint beautiful sea scenery. I would love to paint something incredible something that would be close to famous I.K. Aivazovsky’s works.

Любимое занятие должно быть у каждого человека, ведь это своеобразный отдохнуть от повседневных дел и поднять себе настроение. Моим хобби является рисование.

Рисовать мне нравится уже довольно давно, с самого детства. Не зря у мамы в шкафу сохранился целый альбом моих первых «шедевров», относящихся к сфере изобразительного искусства. С этим альбомом я и поступала в художественную школу, и меня приняли.

Теперь я уже несколько лет подряд три раза в неделю с удовольствием посещаю уроки в этом заведении. Шаг за шагом я постигаю азы мастерства художника, и мне приятно наблюдать, что с каждым годом мои рисунки становятся все лучше и лучше.

Учителя также отмечают мой прогресс, и это очень радует меня. Конечно, в нашем ремесле, как и в любом другом деле, есть место и критике. Иногда мне бывает сложно воспринимать ее, пусть даже она и объективна. В такие моменты я обычно сильно переживаю, но затем стараюсь взять себя в руки и исправить найденные педагогом ошибки.

В свободное время я люблю делать различные наброски карандашом у себя в блокноте. Когда на улице стоит хорошая погода, я обычно устраиваюсь на скамейке в парке и рисую прохожих, птиц или животных, гуляющих там. Также я люблю рисовать незнакомцев в метро или в автобусе.

Больше всего в последнее время мне нравится писать пейзажи масляными красками. Когда мы с родителями отправляемся на природу, я всегда беру с собой свой этюдник — так называется у художников их походный «чемоданчик».

Этим летом моя семья собирается поехать на море, и я надеюсь, что мне удастся осуществить свою самую большую мечту — нарисовать красивую марину. Я хочу создать что-нибудь по-настоящему удивительное, напоминающее по своей силе произведения знаменитого И. К. Айвазовского.

English songs are worth listening to because it helps you to learn new words. Apple pie is worth eating because it is very tasty. The London zoo is worth visiting because there are many different animals there.
