Football. Is considered to be the most popular sport games in the world. It is my favourite game as well. Together with my dad we are fans of football. We always watch important football matches on TV. At weekends sometimes we go to our stadium to watch the games of local teams. I know that British people are ardent fans of this game. They even have some Premier League football clubs, such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. American football is called soccer. Their game is a bit different from football. For example, the shape of a ball and a uniform are totally different. The rules of football are quite simple. There are eleven players in each team. Every team tries to score as many goals as they can. No one is allowed to use hand while playing, only legs. The goalkeeper on the contrary uses hands to catch the ball.
                                                           

The place I'd like to visit is Arbat Street in Moscow. I think everybody heard about this awesome street. It's one of the main sights in Moscow. There are more sights than in Red Square. Old Arbat is not long. In fact it’s  1,2 km.   But it’s a must to see even if you are going to spend in Russian capital just a few days. It is situated in historical central district of Moscow. The beginning of the street is in square Arbat Gates and it ends in Smolenskaya square. (Metro stations Arbatskaya or Smolenskaya square) There is no traffic in this street. Arbat is a pedestrian street. It is a very old street. The first houses were built in it in the 15th century.

In this street there are monuments and museums to many famous people, who lived here. There is Pushkin’s house-museum and opposite it you’ll see a sculpture of him and his wife Natalia. There are Lermontov’s, Skryabin’s and Okudjava’s houses. Suvorov was born in one of the houses in this street.

There is a monument to Bulat Okudjava, to N.V.Gogol. There you’ll find one of the cult places a Wall, devoted to Viktor Tsoy, the leader of the musical group “Cinema”. If the weather is warm you can see a lot of street musicians and painters in Arbat. You are offered a wide choice of Russian souvenirs in the street: wooden and clay, among them balalaykas and Matryoshras. There are a lot of shops for tourists on both sides of the street and cosy cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy Russian cuisine:  tasty pies and pancakes with caviar. 

Место, которое я бы хотел посетить это улица Арбат в Москве. Это уникальная улица, которая является одной из главных достопримечательностей Москвы. Достопримечательностей на этой улице, больше, чем на Красной площади. Старый Арбат не длинная улица. Фактически всего  1,2 км. Но её нужно обязательно увидеть, даже если вы намерены провести в российской столице всего несколько дней. Она расположена в историческом центральном Арбатском районе Москвы. Начинается улица на площади Арбатские Ворота и заканчивается на площади Смоленская. (Метро Арбатская или Смоленская площадь) Нет никакого транспортного  движения на этой улице. Арбат - это пешеходная улица. Это очень старая улица. Первые дома были построены ещё в 15 веке.

На этой улице есть памятники и музеи многих известных людей, которые жили здесь. Есть дом-музей Пушкина, а напротив него вы увидите скульптуру он и его жена Наталья. Есть дома  Лермонтова, Скрябина и дом Булата Окуджавы.  Российский полководец Александр Суворов родился в одном из домов на этой улице.

Есть памятники Булату Окуджаве и Н.В.Гоголю. Там вы найдете одно из самых культовых молодежных мест  «Стена Цоя», посвященная Виктору Цою, лидеру музыкальной группы “Кино”. Если погода теплая, вы увидите много уличных музыкантов и художников на Арбате. Там вам предлагается широкий выбор русских сувениров:  деревянных и глиняных, среди них балалайки и матрёшки. Есть много магазинов для туристов с обеих сторон улицы и уютные кафе и рестораны, где можно отведать блюда русской кухни: вкусные пироги и блины с икрой.
