We have just come back from a school conference in Moscow. We heard about a 10-day expedition to the Ugra National Park. This park is located beside the Zhizdra River and has many different trees and plants found in Central Russia.
We learned that most school students in Russia study Ecology and take part in conferences and events about modern ecological problems. In the school holidays, children can go to a lot of camps where they can learn to do practical things to take care of nature and help the environment.
The aim of the student's expedition was to explore the flora and fauna of their native land and learn more about practical ecology. They learned how to experience nature by using all their senses. They were able to see, hear, feel and understand nature. In spite of millions of mosquitoes, they agreed that nature is amazing and they said that it was a fantastic experience!
The students participated in volunteer work such as cleaning the springs and paths in the forest. Their adventures also taught them a lot of practical lessons about living independently in the middle of the forest. They learnt how to put up tents, make a fire, cut wood and cook on an open fire.
One of the students' favourite activities was the nightly sing-alongs around the camp-fire. They said it was a wonderful way to relax after a long day full of discoveries and adventures. The campers really enjoyed their stay at the eco-camp. In fact, nearly all of them said that they hope to go back again next year!

Мы только что вернулись со школьной конференции в Москве. Мы слышали о десятидневной экспедиции в национальная парк "Угра". Он расположен около реки Жиздра и содержит множество деревьев и растений,произрастающих в Центральной России. 
Мы узнали,что большинство школьников России изучает экологию,принимает участие в конференциях и мероприятиях,посвящённых современным экологическим проблемам. На каникулах школьники могут отправиться в один из множества лагерей,где научатся,как заботиться о природе и окружающей среде. Целью студенческой экспедиции было исследовать флору и фауну своей Родины и узнать больше о практической экологии. Он узнали,как познавать природу,используя все свои чувства. Они могли видеть,слышать,чувствовать и понимать природу. Несмотря на полчища комаров они согласились,что природа превосходна и что это был замечательный опыт. 
Школьники участвовали в волонтёрской работе: чистили источники и дорожки в лесу. Их приключения научили их самостоятельно выживать в гуще леса. Они научились ставить палатки,разводить огонь,рубить деревья и готовить на открытом огне. Одним из любимейших занятий были ночные посиделки с песнями вокруг костра. Они сказали,что это был прекрасный расслабиться после долгого дня,полного открытий и приключений. Туристам действительно понравилось пребывание в эко-лагере. Почти все сказали,что надеются вернуться сюда снова в следующем году.
