На предмет вираження майбутньої дії існує кілька стереотипів, які міцно засіли в голові у багатьох, хто вивчає англійську мову.

Отже, стереотип номер один: будь-який майбутній дію - це will . Варіант дуже вигідний: Future Simple легкий в освіті, будь-який новачок зможе його безпомилково утворити і використовувати.

Стереотип номер два: going to - це тільки " збиратися щось зробити " і крапка. Інших значень не буває.

Виходячи з цих двох "правил" і будуються пропозиції. У проходженні даними стереотипам присутня певна логіка, але вона часто буває оманлива, тому що не дозволяє вам точно висловити свою ідею.

У цій статті ми будемо розвіювати стереотипи, розширювати знання граматики і детально розглянемо відмінності між використанням Future Simple (або просто will ) і конструкцією going to .

Як завжди, розглядати будемо в контексті ситуацій, які ми будемо порівнювати. Зазвичай will going to плутають, коли говорять про рішеннях або прогнозах на майбутнє .

Рішення (Decision)

Will вказує на те, що рішення спонтанне , тобто мовець не замислювався над цим рішенням заздалегідь.

- I have not decided. I think I will visit my parents.  

- Є плани на вихідні?  

- Я не вирішив. Я думаю, я відвідаю батьків.

У цій ситуації зрозуміло, що рішення з приводу планів на вихідні приймається в момент мовлення і говорить до цього не думав над ним.

- Hmm, I think I will become a doctor!

- Хм, я думаю, я буду доктором!

Це спонтанний відповідь, який зазвичай дають діти на подібні питання.

Прохання, обіцянки, погрози, попередження теж передаються за до тому що найчастіше висловлюються спонтанно.

Якщо ж рішення обдумано заздалегідь, до розмови, то воно вже переходить в розряд планів , тому використовувати слід going to .

- Yes, I am going to visit my parents.  

- Є плани на вихідні?  

- Я збираюся (планую) відвідати батьків.

Використовуючи going to , що говорить показує, що він вже все обдумав і запланував.

Прогноз (Prediction)

Future Simple використовується, коли ми висловлюємо свій прогноз щодо майбутнього дії, грунтуючись на власних міркуваннях, очікуваннях. Тому will використовується з дієсловами:

believe (вважати),

doubt (сумніватися),

expect (очікувати),

hope (сподіватися),

говірками:

probably ( ймовірно),

maybe (може бути),

certainly (безумовно),

perhaps (можливо)

і фразами:

I'm sure ... - Я впевнений ...

There is no doubt ... - Без сумніву ...
