В русском языке мы понимаем, что перед нами глагол в неопределенной форме по окончанию ТЬ: сказать, рисовать, позвонить. В английском же языке окончания слов не изменяются. И тут нам на приходит частица to, которая служит именно таким показателем, которым в русском языке является окончание ТЬ. То есть если мы видим частицу to перед глаголом, мы можем смело сказать, что этот глагол стоит в неопределенной форме: to say, to paint, to call. Если вы посмотрите на частицу to и произнесете ее, вы увидите, что она ОЧЕНЬ напоминает русский ТЬ, но только в начале предложения. I want to call my sister. Я хочу (что сделать?) позвонить своей сестре.
