Мой любимый школьный предмет - английский язык. Мне он нравится, потому что это интересно, а также потому, что он мне хорошо даётся! У нас уроки английского три раза в неделю, по понедельникам в 10 часов, по средам в 11 часов и по четвергам в 3 часа. Урок английского длится 50 минут. Мне никогда не бывает скучно.

В данный момент мы изучаем синонимы и антонимы. Синоним - это слово, которое означает то же самое, что и другое слово, например, «little» и «small». Антонимы являются противоположностями, как «old» и «young». Это не трудно. Правописание иногда бывает трудным. Мы должны писать по десять слов. Иногда слова довольно просты, но на этой неделе одно из слов было «brilliant» (блестящий). Это трудно! Большая часть класса (включая меня) написала «briliant» с одной буквой «l»!

Моего учителя английского языка зовут мистер Торнтон. Он может говорить на четырех иностранных языках. Он говорит на французском, немецком, испанском и русском языках. Он говорит, что очень важно сначала понять свой собственный язык. Когда вы понимаете, как глаголы изменяются в одном языке, гораздо легче выучить другой язык. Я думаю, что это правда. Я учу французский в школе и думаю, что это довольно легко.

Мистер Торнтон дружелюбный и добрый, но он много задает нам на дом. На этой неделе мне надо писать сочинение. Я люблю писать, поэтому я не против. У нас экзамен на следующей неделе, поэтому мне нужно учить (заниматься). Я думаю, что я хороший ученик. Я всегда делаю домашнее задание. Я успешно сдаю большинство моих экзаменов, но я не очень силён в математике!
