I was coming back on my trip to Europe. On board a ship I made acquainted with an American couple. They were very friendly and by secret I told them my real name-Lautisse.. I kept my name in secret because I was the world's greatest painter. I gave up painting and said that I would never touch another brush as long as I live. My new friends and I planned to spend a month in New York. My friends invited me to their place for a weekend. We decided not to talk about art and just relax.
My friend let me finish the post while he was painting his garden fence.
Some days later when I was looking through a newspaper I saw a headline "Lautisse Paints Again " As I found out later a reporter and a photographer of one of the papers arrived to the place where I had spent a weekend. They took a picture of a garden fence. As I know the fence was taken to New York and sold out within a month. There were 30 sections. One of them my friend Geston keeps for himself.
The most funniest thing is that I had no idea when I had painted the fence .I couldn't imagine that it would make such a noise. Then I got down to work and signed each one.

Summer is my favourite season. Last summer I didn't go anywhere in June and in July, and I stayed almost all the time in the city. I rode my bike, walked in the park in fresh air, played ping-pong with my friends.  I also read some books on Literature, History Geography and Biology. I often went to the shopping centre to do the shopping. But in August I went to a teens summer camp. It was really fun. It was situated by a lake and we swam and dived in it when the weather was warm and sunny. I made some new friends there. Together with them we took part in different competitions, festivals. We played sport games, danced, drew, went on a boat trip. In the camp there were discos almost every night. I guess, those were the most exciting  days of my rest last  summer.
