Hemingway, Ernest Miller was born on 1899 in Chicago.  He grew up in a family of a doctor. His literary talent manifested itself in school years. 
During the First World war Ernest served as an ambulance driver and was wounded on the Austro-Italian front. After the war, devoted himself entirely to literature. He traveled much, was fond of mountain skiing, hunting, fishing.
After the war, Hemingway went to Cuba, and resumed his creative activity. He continued to travel until 1953 in Africa because he was involved in a serious crash. He became the winner of the Pulitzer and Nobel prize for literature. He was married four times. 
After coming to power in Cuba Fidel Castro Ernest returned to the United States, Idaho.Last years of his life he suffered from severe depression, and later he had a serious disease of the liver.
On 2 July 1961 Ernest committed suicide.
Hemingway was buried in Cuba, where he lived the last years, then his house was converted into a Museum.

После войны Хемингуэй отправился на Кубу и возобновил свою творческую деятельность. Он продолжал путешествовать до 1953 года, потому что в Африке он попал в серьезную аварию. Он стал лауреатом Нобелевской премии по литературе. Он был женат четыре раза.
После прихода к власти на Кубе Фиделя Кастро Эрнест вернулся в США. В последние годы своей жизни он страдал от тяжелой депрессии, а потом у него было серьезное заболевание печени.
2 июля 1961 года Эрнест покончил жизнь самоубийством.
Хемингуэй был похоронен на Кубе, где он жил последние годы, потом его дом был превращен в музей.
