My favorite writer.
My favorite writer is Erich Maria Remarque. Many of his creations are part of the world classic of the world literature. He is a prominent German writer of the XX century, a representative of the lost generation. Erim Maria Remarque is writer, whose name speaks for itself. For many generations of readers who grew up on his works, critics unanimously recognized his work, he became a symbol of the times. The tragedies of the First and Second World War, the "lost generation", a funny, somewhat cynical, but in something - clean small world of true friendship and a desperate love  that Remarque, author, whose prose is not subject to aging. One of my favorite novels written by him is the "Triomphe ark". It is the finest-European novels XX century. A novel about love, war and death. This sad-European novels XX century. A novel about a woman who has nothing but miserable siyusekundnyh wins - and a man accustomed to  fear, hatred and hopelessness, as his second "I" .This - "Triomphe ark". A novel about passion, which could and should be completed only tragedy.

My favorite writer is Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. He was a dramatist and is considered to be one of the greatest writers of short stories in history.

From all his works most of all I like Chekhov's tragicomedy "The cherry garden". As for me, this work teaches us a lot about our life, our history and the relationships among generations. It shows us the relationships between members of one family, but I think it can be applied to the relationships between nations and countries.

Although The cherry garden is a tragicomedy,  Chekhov's style may be characterized as an impressionist one. He used a lot of sadness, absence of basic information in introductions and conclusions, and always writing to the point.
