The British are famous not only for their language, sense of humor, but also for courtesy, so you should respect social etiquette when you are in the UK.

Shaking hands is the most common form of greeting when you meet someone for the first time, when you greet close friends or relatives, you can kiss them on the cheek or hug them. It is quite normal when the English call you dear.

The British love solitude, so family, films, television, sports, study, food, hobbies and of course the weather are acceptable topics for small talk.

есть много старых и знаменитых театров в великобритании и наиболее старый и интересный из них это театр " глобус"

впервые он был построен в 1599 и Вильям Шекспир играл на его сцене (я так полагаю ставил свои сцены). В этом театре ставили его знаменитые пьесы такие как Гамлет, Король Лир и другие. К сожалению, это здание сгорело в 1613 когда во время пьесы "генри" выстрелила театральная пушка. Оно позже было перестроено и снова разрушено Пуританами (последователями крайне стрргих нравов)

в 1997 здание перестроили и опять однако не совсем так точно каким оно было до этого. Сейчас театр открыт.

один из самых знаменитых и важных современных театров это королевский оперный дом, ковент-гарден. он был построен в 1858 и явояется домом для королевской оперы и балета. "Кармэн" это опера которая была поставлена здесь Джорджем Бизетом.

есть и другие знамениты театры в лондоне такие как Лицейский театр, Театр Буша, театр Пикадилли, театр Олдвича, театр Шафтсбери, театр Пикок, театр Принца Уэльского и многие лругие. Другие города Великобритании также гордятся своими театрами. В манчэстере есть большой оперный театр. В Йорке есть прекрасный королевский театр под названием Эйлсбери Уотерсайд театр. В Саутгемптоне есть театр "Мэйфлауэр", театр "Эмпайр" в Ливерпуле и еще один Королевский театр в Бристоле.

и это только малая часть от всех театров великобритании.Даже в маленьких городках есть свои театры или театральные студии. Люди в Великобритании любят живые выступления и ходят на них часто.
