Past Simple is one of 12 tense forms in English. It is mainly used to describe a particular or regular action in the past. It is also used when there are some actions without a big period of time between each other. The auxiliary verb is Did. Formulas:

Affirmative: Subject + Ved or V2

Negative: S + did not + V

Interrogative: Did + S + V ?

1. Tom plays football on Saturday.

2. He doesn't play football every day.

3. I'm wearing a suit now.

4. I'm not wearing jeans now.

5. My friend doesn't like to play football.

6. I'm not reading now.

7. Is he sleeping now?

8. We don't go to the country in winter.
