Hello, Nick! How are you! You saked me about Halloween. I want to tell you how we celebrated it last year. First we made costumes and masks. Then we dressed in costumes and masks and went from door to door saying "trick or treat". The neighbours gave us such treats as candy, fruit and pennies so we did not play tricks on them. In every house on this day you could see Jack-o'-lanterns, they are hallowed-out pumpkins with face carved into one side. It was funny to make them! Most jack-o'-lanterns contained a candle inside. In the evening we - my family and my friends - sat in front of fire-place and told each other scary stories about ghosts and witches. It is funny! How do you celebrate Halloween?
I have to go!
Bye!

My favorite sport is cycling. I cycle almost during all year except winter. I like to cycle in the park or somewhere in the forest because there are no cars. I like to cycle with my friends or with my parents. Usually we choose the route, take the map, water, snacks and cycle from morning till night. We choose some beautiful place and go there. Sometimes it is difficult - but I like it! I also like to take part in bicycle race! It is fun! but it is a difficult sport! and I like to watch bicycle race on TV. The first bicycle race was held in 1868 in Paris. But the sport became popular only several decades later because bicycles were expensive and only rich people could afford them. By the end of the 19th century many factories produced thousands of bicycles which became cheap, so many people could practice cycling and take part in various competitions. Cycling competitions are generally divided into road and track events. Both kinds are in the Olympic programme. Olympic road events include individual and team races.Individual races' distances are different, usually they do not exceed 200 kilometres. The winner is the first cyclist who passes over the finish line with his front wheel.
In the team road event the teams start the contest with 2-4 minutes interval, and that team wins whose members get the best sum of timings.
